Namely, the transcription rules for each jurisdiction, which are all found on a spreadsheet that is accessible by all employees. I’ve had many instances where I followed the protocol that we are taught to follow but the proofreader marked it as wrong. Frustrating especially since it is my name on the certificate page and not the proofreader’s, who gets the final say in the product presented to the client.
