1yDear former employee, my name is Andy Ballard, the CEO at Wiser. I very much appreciate you taking the time to offer feedback so we can continue to improve as a business and in particular with our employees. Firstly, to clarify, there have been no recent layoffs at Wiser. Our focus is on building a more efficient and sustainable business, and while we always evaluate our structure to improve processes and technology, we are not making workforce reductions at this time. Also, the structural changes that happen sometimes, they are less about funding and where we want to invest capital, but more about driving efficiency to be a better business.
On the compensation front, it is something as a team we care about significantly. We work towards analyzing market compensation across all of our teams, and both in new hires and with existing employees, want to make sure we drive fair and competitive compensation for our team members, it’s a critical component of our teams.
Lastly, I agree that the balance of our product suite and providing the best solutions for our customers does mean that we’re incorporating both new and established technologies into our products based on customer needs and our roadmap. It’s always a balance we need to strike to deliver the best products in the market.
