      Good marketing and relationship building

      Industry is in the dumps so no prospects Firm returns are terrible benchmarked across VC industry. Multiple scandals in portfolio damaging reputation. Saving grace is CEO knows how to tell stories well and change the narrative. Everyone is keeping an eye out for alternative job opportunities and simply staying because there are few other job prospects in VC now. We all know about it even if people do it secretly I don't care anymore. Fluff all the way

      Don't even bother with this place.

      To work for Wavemaker Partners is to waste your time. It's horrible company, so don't even bother wasting your time and effort here. Employees of this company see no growth due to the lack of opportunities for learning, and we don't get any opportunities for advancement at all. Aside from being stagnant, you'll also have to deal with the unpleasant management.
