Pros

Pay is good for the area. Easy job. Minimal patient interaction Plenty of downtimes.

Kontras

Management provides little updates or directions. During Coronavirus we were not given any updates on policy changes. They take a lot of add ons and there isnt a lot of teamwork...leave nurses to pick up the slack. Takes 6 months to get 1 week off of work. No sick time. Hours are not flexible at all. Impossible to go to the doctor/dentist and take a vacation.

Pros

The people I work with are great. We do a lot of team bonding events. They pay for your parking or metro. Even though we only get a 30 minute lunch, they give us free 10 minutes extra.

Kontras

The company will change our standard operating procedures and train us AFTER it's already put into place. There doesn't seem to be any consideration for those of us in admin. Additionally, they don't allow you to rollover your unused PTO at the end of the year nor do you get paid out on it. There is little to no opportunity to move up in the company under admin. They suddenly offered a scholarship fund but only for radiology tech, not for health admin. Also, low pay raises and no bonuses for anyone under the Center Director and yet, we're the ones on the front lines. They try to offer points for a benefit to purchase merchandise but make it difficult to accumulate sufficient points and they make them expire.
