Growing inside the company is hard and very political. Outsiders hired have more visibility and have a higher tendency of promotions and recognition. Some cases of very bad work life balance with lots of extra hours, which normally you dont get paid. Operational sites are far away and very isolated. Too many hired third party companies with high turnover makes it hard to run some projects. Vale is a very big company and spread all over Brazil and the world brings alot of cultural and social conflicts.
