UBS generally falls in line with competitors when it comes to 401K match, base pay, insurance and other benefits. Being a European company, the work life balance generally been better in terms of more leave and more flexible work life balance options. Diversity and Inclusion is also valued highly. The firm sets goals and expectations around D&I and actually measures and reports on it in a transparent way.

Management is the biggest con. They are slow and not inclined to jump onboard with doing things differently so you can accomplish the same in better, more efficient, or more efficient way. The people you need to approve a change are generally too far away from the process to truly understand the situation, and they're too busy and inaccessible to take the time to truly understand the situation and its implications. Outdated technology systems are also a pain point.
