HR is not very responsive and helpful. I quit Synopsys in March first week. HR had started a new employee welfare scheme in Jan. Now, if you don't read fine print, you are likely to be surprised every time you get your pay slip. I did not imagine that I will be automatically enrolled in this policy during my notice period. Anyways, they deducted this amount from me for Feb, which is acceptable. But, during my final settlement, they insisted that they have already made payment to the vendor for the next two months and therefore, I should pay the amount for two additional months (the months I was not part of Synopsys). I was told that the vendor will directly refund the amount later. Reluctantly, I made the payment because so many folks called me for this. It has been now more than two months and I have not got the refund. The worst part is the HR contact does not reply to emails or calls. There is also no way to reach the vendor directly. Never had such bad experience in my 18 years of IT career.
