Most people want to leave as soon as possible. Management constantly lies about salary increases. Instead, they hire so-called “interns,” who are given full responsibilities, no guidance, and extremely high expectations — just to underpay them. These interns handle critical projects without clients even knowing, which leads to mistakes and fuels even more toxicity. C-level executives only care about squeezing the maximum amount of work out of employees with the least possible investment, completely ignoring their wellbeing. Chemists are forced to work in labs under unbearable conditions — over 40°C in the summer, every single day for months.
