Pros
At HQ, a relatively small group of people is working on taking the TV industry into the future - and they are succeeding. Management has a clear vision and the financial firepower to make strategic acquisitions of digital businesses accordingly. Communications does a swell job at creating transparency around the company's strategy. There's no mentality to compartmentalize, and you'll regularly run into the CEO at the company gym. Hard work gets rewarded: Extra bonuses for special projects and iPads fro Christmas, for example. Being part of the massive global Bertelsmann group creates cross-divisional exposure. There's the possibility of secondment within RTL or other Bertelsmann companies, although it's not widely common.
Kontras
Luxembourg is not a very exciting place to work, but the salary makes up for it. If you wanna work in a "real" TV production environment, HQ is not the place for you. The cafeteria is not very good.
