There are literally no pros to working here.

From day 1 you are set up to fail. There is no formal onboarding process. You are thrown into the fire and expected to learn rapidly with 0 guidance. There is no structure in place for any process in the company, despite being a software company - anything and everything is super informal, and god forbid you mess up because you will be yelled at and treated like you're 8 years old. The CEO is a hypocrite and refuses to accept any new ideas or explain his thought process behind anything. If he doesn't like it then he doesn't like it and will refuse to tell you why, in fact yelling at you for even suggesting things. The interns and workers are simply treated as a number, and someone for the president to yell at. There is a reason this place has extremely high turnover rate.

Pros

This is going to be a crash course in listening, time management, and workplace etiquette. You will walk away knowing how to operate in an office environment, how to interact with management, and delegating yourself responsibilities. There will be plenty to put on a resume, and plenty to talk about come your next job interview. It is a great chance to get a better insight into the corporate technology field.

FOR STUDENTS AND RECENT GRADS! Please take a second to read this review. This experience will not be easy. You are going to get questioned regarding your methods, your progress, and you will not be congratulated for doing a good job. This company thrives on a high turnover rate, so don't think that you are the crucial link that they will miss if you fail. Management is going to pressure you. It will not be a very friendly office environment. No one if going to teach you how to work. Instead, seriously consider taking this position if you believe yourself ready to become a quick expert in old fashioned office politics and discipline. Get in, be diligent in your job role, and ask questions to middle management, not upper. Be ready to explain your results, and change job tasks quickly. If I were you, I would be thinking about how this experience could better progress your professional career.
