Pros

Very organized as far as onboarding goes. You get quickly set up with all the equipment you need (phones, laptops, etc.). They do a good job of planning fun outings for their employees.

Kontras

There is a lot of pressure to do things correctly the first time. I understand mistakes are to be avoided as much as possible, but they are inevitable. I found there wasn't much understanding from upper management when mistakes were made. I wasn't spoken to about potential issues with my performance, or areas where I needed to improve. It seemed an unfavorable opinion was reached about me, and I was only given that insight after the decision to let me go was already made. During my time there, I felt like I was always walking on eggshells, and the security of my future employment was questionable at best.

Pros

Path Construction is a great place to work! The leadership team is full of great mentors and supports every team member to excel in the difficult construction industry. Path supports a good work life balance and opportunities to grow no matter what the role. Pay and benefits are at or above industry standards and Path encourages employees to spend time together outside of the office with frequent social events.

Kontras

Being a nation wide company with offices on each coast, it can be difficult to meet other co-workers in person. However, Path conducts monthly zoom meetings to meet, interact, and learn from fellow co-workers across the country.

Pros

I've been really enjoying my first year working at Path. The projects I've taken on have struck a great balance of being interesting and complex, which has given me lots of opportunities to expand my skills. It's been really fulfilling to tackle meaningful work while also further developing professionally. The leadership here has also been top-notch. The senior managers are incredibly talented at what they do, and they truly care about fostering an environment where everyone can reach their full potential. Learning and growing is such a central part of the culture - it's not just limited to occasional trainings, but also happens organically every day through interactions and guidance from others. It's clear that individual careers really matter here too. The managers take time to understand each person's unique strengths and help them sharpen those qualities. I never feel shy about asking for help when I'm stuck on something tricky. Everybody is always willing to lend an extra set of eyes. I've been impressed with the diversity amongst my colleagues at Path. Our team consists of people from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences. The different perspectives everyone brings make it feel a lot more well-rounded. The relationships between coworkers might be my favorite part. There seems to be real respect between people and their opinions are valued regardless of position. It doesn't feel like a stretch to hang out with each other outside of work . The optional social activities are a blast and tend to have a good turnout. And behind the scenes, Path has amazing systems that smooth out a lot of headaches that are common in construction. Processes are thoughtfully designed to get work done efficiently.

Kontras

No major complaints but Project Status Reviews can be quicker.
