Pros
- The work is very engaging.
- Pay is decent (could be much better).
- tooling purchases are typically approved with little issue.
Kontras
- uninformed / underqualified management team
- no real engagement from upper management.
- recurring legal battle for any momentum in union contract terms every 4 years
- profit sharing has been reworked multiple times to move the bar away from granting returns to employees.
- impressive profits, but much of it is funneled to the sister company / not reinvested properly in equipment.
- old facility that does not have headroom for power / air.
- not climate-controlled despite having work that is required to be done in a climate controlled environment.
- generally outdated ways of thinking, both in the business administration and personnel management.
