Pros

If you are part of the "in" club that just says yes, you will fit right in. Great for anyone that doesn't care to further their career. Ask yourself why would someone stay somewhere for so long? Maybe because they they don't have the skills to go elsewhere? That would be the answer for the management staff that remains after all the technical staff has left in droves.

Kontras

Pay like many other tech companies is depressed to allow them to pay the excessive level of management that is clueless and wouldn't be able to work a true tech job that requires talent or skills outside directing others. Limited to none advancement training and opportunities. No remote work option, in lieu of creating need for the heavy management for such a small company that further creates dysfunction.

Pros

Supportive and transparent leadership that truly listens and adapts. Made up of a mix of long-tenured employees and external experience. Strong emphasis on professional development—certifications, training, and mentoring are encouraged and funded Close-knit team with a positive, can-do culture—people genuinely want to help each other succeed Exciting time to be here: the company is growing, innovating, and evolving in smart ways Leadership is approachable, open to new ideas, and focused on doing what’s right for employees and clients alike Clear vision and purpose—feels like I’m part of something that matters

Kontras

Like any growing company, change is constant—but it’s change with purpose High expectations, which is a good thing if you’re motivated and accountable

Pros

Most of the folks I worked with in my department made the job bearable.

Kontras

Communication is poor across the board. Leadership is out of touch and has no self-awareness/understanding of what direction they're heading. Standards are not upheld within. Ability to further advance your career from within is limited as well. Also, I had submitted 96 hours of PTO at the top of 2024 for a trip and blindsided me with a completely unexpected layoff the DAY BEFORE MY 96 HOURS OF SUBMITTED AND APPROVED PTO STARTED. And per their handbook, they are only to pay out 40 total hours of PTO. Therefore, they obviously waited until the very last second, right before my 96 hours of PTO to lay me off and save a dime. Not to mention, I still had 40 hours that I was sitting on. So, in total, I had 136 hours of PTO and am only being paid 40 of them, and once again they laid me off unexpectedly the day before 96 of those hours would be used. I was one of the longest tenured members on my team and this was repayment.
