Pros
Staff breakfast and lunches provided by the school; it goes a long way on saving your own money. The environment is also generally conducive enough to find time for personal development which is always encouraged. There is also an emphasis on group continuous professional development which is helpful and of course for someone looking to make a career path in education, the school environment gives you the opportunities to expand your network.
Kontras
The biggest CON is the fact that the school is run like a one man business; this is very off putting as initiative is not applied by most of the senior management and staff in general and although the owner would say in public that initiative is valued, in theory it is not. Even the smallest things fall on the owners table. The school generally suffers from the same setbacks as a one man organisation.
The school also pays lower than average compared to schools of the same caliber.
The school also suffers from an identity issue; although it is an A-levels tutorial institution, several elements of the school resemble primary and secondary schools. This also affects operational and tactical decision making
