People were being put in positions that they didn’t belong despite having no qualifications whatsoever if they were Chinese Nationals. If you weren’t from China, you would naturally have a disadvantage when it comes to salary, etc. Their 996 culture and company processes were also in disarray, with focus being put in all the wrong areas. Unfortunately, the company has recently ceased its operations and plenty of the staff were let go as a result. All round bad leadership and management.

I worked at Numen for almost 1.5 years. I enjoyed my time at Numen. When I joined, the company was very new, and we worked hard to make the company what it is today. Everyone in the company is very friendly and helpful. It was my first office job and I was happy with the company. I was the only Indian in the company but I never faced any discrimination at work. People from different countries work together in the company. The management is approachable. We can directly whatsapp them and talk about our issues. Different teams might have different experiences but in my team, we never had any big issues. I worked with two managers and both of them were extremely good and helpful. None of my leave requests ever got rejected. Office timing is flexible. As it is a startup so sometimes work can be a bit hectic. In my 1.5 years of work at Numen only once I had to work on weekends as we needed to finish a project urgently else I was never asked to work on weekends or after office hours. Numen Cyber Labs got some of the best security experts in Singapore and I learned a lot from them. I left the company due to some personal reasons. I wish the company all the best for its future.

No major cons as such but if you don't know to speak Chinese then sometimes there can be a bit issue in communication as few people don't understand English well.
