Staff not valued or listened to and even have their employment terminated if management don't like or agree with your input unless it fits in with theirs. Over 20yrs with this company i have witnessed way too many staff versus boss incidents across the board. Also witnessed good professional officers conveniently terminated and out of work if they stood up for what is right. Have also worked with guards who literally lived on their phones and not doing the work required each shift, not greeting clients staff whether it's a good morning or afternoon, hello or goodbye or can I help, yet still in the company's employ. ???????? Guards terminated or interviewed one at a time when they questioned the workplace agreement. Warning letters issued that sometimes contained wrongful accusations. Conflict of interests when NPS company's guards manager left to work as guards manager at NPS clients company. Rudeness and talking down to staff on many occasions. Money owed not paid to staff from years back when Fair Work viewed the agreement and stated overall it was fair but one section needed to be changed regarding newly employed staff pay which should increase at the same time as longer serving staff not a year after they started with the company. Fair work said we were due to be backpayed. Never happened. Employer furious that guards dared approach Fair Work to question the agreement which was their legal right to do. One guard who spoke up was sent to another site, put at the back guardhouse where it was boringly quiet as legally they couldn't sack him, making it tediously boring which made him resign. Perfect outcome for the company with no legal outcome. A book could be written on this company and probably some other security companies too as word spreads in the industry.
