small company requiring you to wear a lot of hats

Somewhat decent compensation, ok benefits. If you leave or they fire you, their policy is to NOT pay any of your EARNED vacation!

If you like getting emails addressed to all employees of the company in the middle of summer when it’s over 100 degrees that the supply of water for the shop will be limited, all under the excuse of being “fiscally responsible” then this is the place for you. The founder’s wife is the president and she is the absolute worst. She constantly lies and talks about employees in a bad light to others in the office which ultimately creates a VERY TOXIC work environment. If you don’t believe this, do your research and look at how many people have come and gone from this company. It is a never ending revolving door, which creates major issues in engineering and it ultimately flows into the shop creating major bottlenecks, as well as rework/quality issues, which then creates delivery issues (hello angry customers). Eventually the founder blows up and yells at employees with profanity included. Their social media campaigns are all fake, employees are forced to look happy but it’s a facade to make it seem like it’s all great. I was amazed at how the owners make ALL of the decisions, including overcommitting and overpromising to customers however, when things go wrong, somebody else is always the fall person. They do not allow any objection to their decisions, even if you’re a manager and their bad decision making negatively impacts your department; they take ZERO accountability so be ready to be fired or for your life to be made miserable until you can’t take it anymore and leave on your own. It’s sad because the founder really did come up with a great lineup of products, but the way they run the company will unfortunately be their demise.
