Pros
Most of the employees you will work with are genuinely great people, as well as the patients, and clients.
Kontras
Management is the biggest disappointment. When I first started working at MPower I loved it. That quickly faded when I realized that I was just another number to the management team. All they truly care about are increasing numbers each month. Which I get is what determines a "successful" company, but this is at the cost of the employees and members who pay GOOD money to be there. Their claim is that "everyone is a VIP" but if your not truly a high status client, your just a number. The biggest draw that made me want to work there was the fact that they wanted career minded people, not someone who "just wants a job", but the truth is when your an employee at MPower you will never receive a raise, bonuses are laughable, you will be cut off at 40 hours a week but asked to work more than that for free. Mid-management positions are filled with people who come in with the best intentions but are forced to do some very unethical things to appease upper management at the cost of lower employees and clients. From the time I worked there to the time I left, Mpower had gone through several mid-management positions between the three locations. The only thing we would ever get told was that "They weren't a good fit". The final straw that pushed me out was the fact that I dreaded coming to work every day, and I never want to work in an environment like MPower ever again. I became a very cold and bitter person my last few months there and that not who I am, but working for this company slowly brings that out of you because I've seen it happen to many of the other employees who I worked with.
