Pros
1. Informal work environment where everyone sits at an open desk/cube -- even CEO
2. If you want to learn and grow, you just have to ask. Very small (about 50 employees), so there is an opportunity to wear many hats and to work closely with most of co-workers.
3. Employee satisfaction is very important -- and this includes diversity and inclusion! Leadership truly wants to make all employees enjoy their job and the people they work with.
Kontras
1. Changing structure and overall goals means employees must be able to adapt and go with the flow if they want to remain strong and secure. Being an active part of your team is critical to your success during any change here.
2. Open office concept is not for me personally, but may work for others. It's an intriguing way to get people to interact, but definitely not for everyone.
3. As I stated, there is room to learn here -- but remember that we are small, so professional growth does not necessarily mean you get a job title change. If you are hung up on "manager" or "director" in your title, have that conversation early so everyone is on the same page.
