Pros
So many great experiences, people and opportunities. I learned skills ranging from how to present analytics reporting to clients, to how to write a concise email. I came in knowing very little about SEO, but my coworkers were willing to patiently help me learn.
One of the biggest perks was how I got a decent amount of control of my client's websites. This allowed me to learn and actually enjoy doing what I wanted to do instead of doing someone else's tasks. Also, as you take on more responsibility and do well for your client's you get paid more in return.
Also, they were willing to work around my class schedule so I could still finish up my degree and get in my hours.
Kontras
The environment was definitely nowhere near as bad as some of these Glassdoor reviews made it out to be. The first few weeks I felt like a fish out of water, but everyone was always there to help whenever I had questions trying to learn the ropes.
You have to work hard and curveballs will come your way, but if you put general effort forth you will make it through. Management acknowledges and understands when you are dealt a rough hand.
