* Place is a virtual revolving door with people coming in and going out the next day, week or month. * Middle management is ignorant and lacks competence. The one I worked for was a handyman turned project manager who brought that demeanor, approach and a lack of stated expectations and communication to the job. * Place suffers from their location in Tallahassee where it is difficult for them to even attract and retain local college talent much less import experienced people from outside. They do source people on visas though as it is a ready source of captive labor for them. * Developers are herded into attending once-a-month technical knowledge-sharing meetings where they have to sign attendance rosters. This speaks volumes about the discorded culture of this place to even keen-eyed rank outsiders.
