There are some good people here - the department managers largely want what is best for their people.
Kontras
All about the bottom line. Managers are good, but C-suite pressure gets passed all the way down. Doesn't matter what goes wrong or where - if you want it fixed, you have to fix it. Very high pressure, low side of industry pay. Relatively few competitive benefits to pitch candidates. You will cold call until your eyes bleed.
