I had no personal life, no work life balance, was stressed, working 7 days a week and there was over a 40% turnover rate within the sales team in less than a year. To be successful, which I was, I had no life, began having panic attacks, and burnt out like never before in my life. There were constant operational problems, no support from the purchasing department (who believed they were the gods gift to the universe), and when I did the math I was earning about what a average server makes in a restaurant per hour. I was treated like an ER doctor receiving calls day, night, weekends, and it seemed more like I was a complaint department that a sales rep.
