Pros

Great people, culture, and work. Strong upper management. Old industry allows for many opportunities to make a difference. Challenging but rewarding.

Kontras

Engineering Dept: New middle management is inexperienced and promoted out of necessity and not ability. Some engineers were hired predetermined to be managers, leaving no competition regardless of being fit for the position or not. Some were, some weren't. Below average pay and poor bonus structure.

Pros

-control over your own schedule/independence -minimal micro management -opportunity for advancement

As of today it was announced the 9/80 flexible every other Friday off schedule is no more. This is a warning to potential employees. For me this was a huge perk and critical to work/life balance. It is very unfortunate and I am reconsidering my future with this company. The current job openings however still advertise the 9/80 schedule so be aware Management also continues to make decisions that are supposed to save money but end up creating more waste and spend more money than they are worth.
