Pros
FireHydrant offers ample opportunities to both work independently, chart your own course for how you want to handle things in your realm of work, all while giving you room to fail, grow, learn, and work with other great people. It is a highly collaborative environment where everyone is willing to pitch in their fair share and more to get things right, even if it's not within their immediate realm of responsibility. I have had the opportunity to learn so much more about operations and how our leaders are thinking about the business here than at any other company I've worked at. Comp and benefits are also top of the line for a company of this size.
Kontras
Being a startup, there are challenges. You may not always have the expertise you need on staff, there is inherent financial instability, and things pivot often on the product side. That being said, this is not uncommon for companies at this stage and size, but something you have to be game for.
