Pros
- Great team that actually cares about your well being - toxicity is not tolerated - Very smart and just all around incredible group of people, so I'm constantly challenged to do better and be better - Great vision and direction for where we're headed -- not sure if I can share it here -- but we know what we're doing and I'm excited about seeing us head in that direction - Generous benefits, even though almost every start-up is like this, but there's a required 3 weeks a week off on top of a flex vacation policy, plus 100% paid health and dental, WFH stipend, and 401k match (who does 401k match these days?)
Kontras
- FireHydrant is still small, so everyone is doing everything. It can be a stressful environment if you're not used to the hecticness of start-up life. - We're growing so fast that we've doubled since I started, so getting people onboarded and on the same page is happening A LOT, it can feel like groundhogs day - Being early means not a lot of processes have been put in place yet -- so we're planning and building at the same time which can be messy
