Pros
it's a paycheck, some of the people that work there were great but they hired a lot of dead weight too.
Kontras
the typical cons of any govt contractor, if you don't have a project you don't have a job. management could care less, you are just another body filling a chair.
Beautiful work office space in Dullas Virgina. Free coffee and soft drinks provided. Very lucky at getting government contracts for which they do not have to deliver and customer expectations are vague and unclear making it very difficult to deliver technical professional services. Able to work from home because office network infrastructure is unreliable. Management has very low expectations of employees and subcontractors because they don't know how to deliver on technical projects. Excellent place to work if you like working in a silo with very little management leadership and direction. Able to get government contracts that don't expect delivery of technical and management services making it a very easy working environment. Great co-workers with great ideas however they will not be able to deliver because of low management expectations. Very good at making promises to government clients without being specific about what is to be delivered at the end of during the life cycle of the project.
Kontras
Very poor leadership in management. Lack deep technical knowledge to deliver on technical projects. Technical infrastructure is hardly present. The office network is unavailable 60% of the time during a week making it very difficult to communicate with other co-workers as well as collaborate with other sub-contractors. The office phones rarely work. Employees never include there contact information (personal cell phones) in their office email because they are not compensated for using their cell phone service even when the office land-line is not working. Abuses government contracts resulting in the government never getting the service/product that they think they are paying for.
