Pros

A small place with people who've been with the company for 30+ years. Benefit from the extreme knowledge of the engineering teams. Work with teams and customers spread over geographies.

Kontras

Nepotism in the sales team results in very few new name sales, so they're running on recurring revenue. Restrictive licensing on products in the past has given in the sales people less opportunity to sell. The Engineering management is a mess of politics. Good people get replaced with close people. The Gurgaon development center (which has now been sold) was run by people intent on building personal profit rather than company profit.

Pros

Remote work is the only thing.

Kontras

Everything. If you work in the Services department you are doomed. Management in Services is a complete joke and I have no idea how the person running it doesn’t even know the products. Project managers are extremely toxic. 1 on 1s are a waste of time as if you have any issues they just ignore them. The initial training you receive is horrendous, even the clients we work with say it’s terrible. But management does not care. I was hired as a consultant and was forced into being a software developer (I have zero technology background). You’re promised a bonus they can’t even give you. They will try to make you work weekends constantly. They will be calling on holidays to make you work. Benefits are trash. NO 401k MATCH. You only get 10 days of pto for the first 5 years and gain 5 days every 5years. After a year of working I asked about a raise and was told I’ll never get one.
