If you are competent and know what you are doing they will take advantage of you. They will overload you with work to where you must work overtime to keep up with their service level agreement but you will get paid as much or less than the new hires who have nothing to do. There is a lot of nepotism in WHS. Regardless of your knowledge and experience there is no growth potential unless you know someone but if you know someone you can be clueless and still get promoted.
