Management. Where do I start?
-My manager never can find anything positive to say about me, My manager has said a total of one compliment to me my entire time working here. My work and my feelings get belittled and torn to shreds on the daily. My manager does not trust my judgment and often finds ways to do my job for me instead of providing constructive feedback or help. For this reason, I am consistently in fear that I am going to be fired. I am consistently told what I am doing is wrong but given actionable feedback only part of the time. -I was hounded by several managers for 'turning my work in late' when I was assigned the work after the due date had come and gone.
-There is no clear sense of direction of the company or of any of its brands. We go through brand managers like hotcakes. A new one comes in with new, big ideas, and for whatever reason, they are gone like a thief in the night within 6 months and we have to start all over again establishing what the brands look like.
-Getting people to help me is really tough. Especially in compliance and legal. Whenever I need anything from them, they usually take upwards of 2 weeks to respond and their response is often useless to me. I depend on them very much to do my job right and they treat me like an elementary child who doesn't know anything, hoping I will stop asking questions and just go away.
-Lastly, No one wants to be friends. I have forged so many meaningful friendships with many of my coworkers at previous jobs, but no one here gives one crap about me outside of work. No one asks about what we did over the weekend, no one shows any sign of interest and only speak to me when they need something.
