Pros
It’s okay paying for a remote job and they give you equipment. Some of the people working there are nice.
Kontras
On a surface level Ascensus seems like a decent place to work but the call center is an average large financial services corporate type of call center. It’s bad, awful and will take its toll on your physical and mental health eventually. In the call center, every aspect of their motto is a cruel joke. You are constantly picking up someone else’s slack from another department or from somebody who didn’t feel like doing their work properly, sometimes at the financial detriment of a client. You have no downtime and the dysfunctionality of their vague processes, varying systems and increasingly more time consuming procedures gets more apparent the longer you stay. Unlike other call center jobs, there is no real way to get promoted out of the call center anymore, you just get work between calls. You may take on much more than your colleagues but your yearly raises are the same at 10-30 cents. They are perpetually acquiring business despite not having the manpower, hiring in droves right before busy seasons to keep service level agreements with inexperienced reps and losing two-thirds of them a year in. FYI - They solicit reviews shortly after training finishes. It’s not forced or checked. The reviews are legitimate and valid, but some of these "worked less than a year” people writing short one sentence reviews have in all likelihood only been there 2 or so months.
