Work from home Fridays are great. Met some good people there. But so goes with any workplace.

Innovation comes here to die. Not a good place for modern tech and design. Passive-aggressive culture. You never know what's up. Someone walks in and says "I can't believe how many stupid people work in this company" and you wonder what this person says about the people in YOUR meeting. This type of person seems to be commonplace in this company. It's a closed culture. Not really open to new ideas. Not inclusive. The company is known for its customer service. And yet, product folks are stuck on their project code names and climbing up the ladder, while playing lip service to the customer's real needs and pain points. A glaring lack of empathy due to a culture of arrogance and self-absorption. You will hear "This is Amex. We do not hire stupid people" even in large meetings. And some people will laugh and cheer.
