Pros
Its size and range of projects give many opportunities to work around the world (though the remuneration for doing so is often dissapointing). The offices are generally well equipped and pleasant places to work and the staff can be very supportive There are some good managers who struggle against the bureaucracy
Kontras
Offers limited career progression for engineers who like engineering as opposed to engineers who like project management and accounting. Has a very top heavy hierarchy with few fee earning workers compared with the number of non fee earning managers/support staff. Very financially driven but ruled by an antiquated accounting system. Currently has training ban (for approx last 18months) in a time unprecedented regulatory change in Europe.
