Inequality and lack of fairness amongst different teams. For example, some teams work from home most of the time while others must go back to office, some teams are mandated not to handle more than one project while others work over time all the time. Pay is generally below market average. Low base with project-based bonus, but scheme is not transparent.

Pros

There is an extremely high degree of freedom, because there is no training or learning materials — you have to Google everything yourself. There is absolutely no management pressure, because on your very first day, they will assign you some development tasks, ask you to open the IDE and look at the old code on your own, and then have you independently complete the development tasks based on simple instructions.

Kontras

The turnover rate is extremely high, and the supervisor treats subordinates very poorly. One team alone has seen at least 15 people leave within a year, including some new hires who, on their very first day, argued loudly with the supervisor and then quit. I strongly do not recommend joining this company — the psychological damage is hard to recover from. And you may need to OT over 12AM, next day is your AL, haha.
