The company also offers contract manufacturing, process development, and validation services. Diosynth has manufacturing facilities in the US, serving a wide range of customers. The company (which originally began operating in 1923) was a subsidiary of Akzo Nobel until Schering-Plough bought that company's pharmaceutical operations in 2007.
